Radio Ears.

I'm working on a story. It's my first to write and report and I have to admit, that it is the hardest thing I've had to shoot yet. It's about Radio Eye, a station who reads local and national news and books all day every day.

I've met two listeners. Franklin and Charles. Franklin is only legally blind, and Charles is completely. There are legal differences, but once your vision starts going, it doesn't matter what the law says, your life changes.

And that's what is so hard to capture in photograph. I can't figure out how to represent what I know these people are feeling.

This is all I've been able to come up with. Meet Charles:
Charles has an interesting story. You'll just have to wait to see it though. Hopefully I can represent what Radio Eye has done for him, Franklin and the other listeners.

Good day sunshine

Back to the sunroom. Thanks to my dad for sending me the photos to keep me updated. Here they are...

This is all the planks in the garage, or workshop. You can see what they were up against staining these things. Glad I'm getting an education about 120 some miles away.

Mom and dad have been staining the planks for the ceiling and I think it's almost killed them. They've had to of lost a few brain cells.

Hmm. Let's make sure we put that plasma TV for my video games in the corner there, so the light doesn't affect my gaming. Thanks mom and dad.

"I like to warm my bones beside the fire." And I will, because that's where the fireplace is going. Right in that corner. Yay!
